One of the nine centres

The Heart centre

Will and self-worth. This is the centre that promises, and it is the one that keeps the promise.

How it works

It is one of the four motors in the chart. It gives energy for competing, for working for yourself and the people close to you, and for gaining what is material. It works in a cycle of effort and rest, so even the strongest will needs a break.

When it is defined

You can promise something and keep it by force of will. You have access to your own worth without proving it to anybody.

Keeping your word gives you satisfaction and builds other people's trust. It is worth promising only what you really want, because a word once given will hold you. After a big push, plan your rest before the body demands it.

When it is open

You do not have a steady willpower and you do not need one. There is one risk, promising things that cannot be carried afterwards, only to show that you are worth something.

You are good at recognising what something is really worth, and you often see other people's worth more clearly than they do. Your worth does not depend on how much you do or how much you promise. It helps to let go of comparing yourself and of competing just to win.

Am I trying to prove something to somebody right now?
