One of the five types
Type: Reflector
A Reflector has no defined centre at all. In Human Design it is the rarest type and the only one that fully reflects its surroundings. How you feel on a given day depends a lot on the place and the people around you, which is why choosing those surroundings matters most here.

Strategy
The Reflector strategy is time. With big decisions the doctrine suggests giving yourself a full lunar cycle, roughly four weeks, and talking the matter over with different people during that time. The Moon passes through every gate, so from day to day the matter shows a different side, and by the end of the cycle it is usually clear what stays constant.
Aura
The tradition describes the Reflector aura as detached and sampling. It takes a sample from every person and every place, reflects it and does not cling to it for good. Because of this you see clearly how a group or a place is really doing, often better than the people who are in it every day.
Signature and not-self
The signature is surprise: days when the world shows something new. The not-self signal is disappointment. It tends to show up when a decision was made in a hurry, or when the surroundings stopped being yours a long time ago.
Authority in this type
lunar
The Reflector authority is lunar. There is no steady centre in you that decides, so the doctrine offers time instead of an inner signal: a full lunar cycle for a big decision, with conversations along the way. Whatever still feels right after four weeks, the doctrine takes as your answer.
