One of the nine centres
The Sacral centre
The energy of life and work. It responds to what you put in front of it and says yes or no with the body.
How it works
It is the most powerful of the four motors, tied also to sexuality. It does not start on its own, it waits for something to appear in front of it. Its voice is sounds and sensations in the body, something like uh-huh or hmm, not considered sentences.
When it is defined
You have steady energy for work you like, and it lets you know by itself when something is yours. Exhaustion comes from doing things that are not.
Your body reacts to what comes along before you have time to think it over. It is worth listening to that first response rather than to what you should do. A good day ends in tiredness after work that brought joy, not in exhaustion.
Does my body say yes to this, or am I doing it only because I should?
When it is open
You do not have steady energy and you do not have to pretend you do. Your role is in guiding and in seeing, not in pulling.
In return you recognise very well how energy works in others, and you see who has too much of it and who too little. You work best in shorter, more intense stretches with breaks. The trap is not sensing when enough is enough and going to bed only when completely exhausted.
Do I know when I have had enough, and do I rest before I am running on empty?
