One of the nine centres
The Solar Plexus centre
Emotions and the wave. A mood that moves through time rather than holding one value.
How it works
It is the centre of emotion, sensitivity and desire, both a motor and an awareness. Its wave moves from hope to disappointment and back. This is where passion and depth of feeling come from.
When it is defined
Your emotions have a wave and a decision needs to wait it out. There is no truth in one moment, only across several.
Your mood affects the people around you, often more than it seems. A spontaneous yes at the peak of the wave usually looks different a few days later. Being honest about what you feel, even when it is uncomfortable, is your strength here.
Do I feel the same after a few days, in a different mood?
When it is open
You easily pick up the mood of the people around you. When someone next to you gets angry, you quickly feel the same.
That makes you empathetic, good at reading moods and at knowing what somebody feels before they say it. The emotions that pass through you do not have to stay in you. The trap is avoiding confrontation and truth only so as not to feel somebody else's emotions.
Am I avoiding something important because I am afraid of somebody's emotions?
