One of the twelve profiles
Profile 2/5 · Hermit / Heretic
Consciously you want peace and a space of your own, while unconsciously you attract other people's expectations. People see a solution in you before you show anything, so it is worth choosing which call you answer. In the doctrine this is a profile of a personal path, where the gift needs both quiet and the right invitation.
Line 2 · Hermit · conscious
The doctrine describes the second line as a natural gift that does not know itself. It works best at its own pace and in its own space, away from other people's expectations. The talent is innate rather than learned, so it is often someone from outside who names it and calls it out into the world.
As your conscious line this need is familiar: time alone is not an escape but the condition for what you do to work at all.
Line 5 · Heretic · unconscious
The fifth line lives in a field of other people's expectations. The doctrine describes it as someone others project a hope onto: that they hold a practical solution that will work for them too. When the solution fits, reputation grows. When the expectation was unrealistic from the start, the projection can turn around, so this line is careful about what it agrees to.
As your unconscious line it lets projection land on you without warning. Strangers see someone who knows what to do, and you may not understand where that belief comes from. It helps to say plainly what you can really offer.
