One of the twelve profiles
Profile 2/4 · Hermit / Opportunist
Consciously you need time for yourself, while unconsciously you live in a network of people who know you. The rhythm of this profile comes from that tension: withdrawal, in which the gift matures, and the call of those close to you, which brings it out into the world. In the doctrine this is a profile of a personal path.
Line 2 · Hermit · conscious
The doctrine describes the second line as a natural gift that does not know itself. It works best at its own pace and in its own space, away from other people's expectations. The talent is innate rather than learned, so it is often someone from outside who names it and calls it out into the world.
As your conscious line this need is familiar: time alone is not an escape but the condition for what you do to work at all.
Line 4 · Opportunist · unconscious
The fourth line builds on the people it already knows. According to the doctrine, opportunities come through acquaintances, friends and a close circle rather than through strangers. This line needs a stable base before it moves on, and it has the strongest influence on those it shares trust with.
As your unconscious line the network weaves itself without a plan. People around you connect with each other and with you, and offers come from those you know, often before you ask.
